What we’ve done
To protect our clients’ privacy, we’ve removed the names from these projects.
Landing pages and call tracking
The request
“Build a system to host landing pages and track statistics, and integrate with our existing vendor to match 800-number call data to publishers.”
What we did
The project later grew to include publisher and client logins and commission tracking. The system now manages hundreds of client and publisher accounts and thousands of phone numbers and websites.
Tracking vendor data
The request
“Our vendor delivers data directly to our clients. We want a system of our own to help track the data flowing through.”
What we did
DDS built a customized tracking system and worked with the vendors and clients to set up APIs and delivery paths so data could pass through the client’s own system. The client gained control over hundreds of thousands of records a month that they had no visibility into before, and the project was completed in days.
Rescuing a failing data system
The request
“Help! Our existing data management system is on the fritz, and we want to change the way it works.”
What we did
We stabilized the system and put a backup and recovery plan in place. We then helped set up new data paths and optimize the existing data flow, which improved the client’s net profits.
One trusted source for reporting
The request
“Our numbers live in a pile of spreadsheets and nobody agrees on which one is right.”
What we did
We built a secure internal reporting portal fed directly from the company’s data warehouse, with scheduled refreshes and access limited by role, so everyone works from the same figures.
Cleaning up aging hosting
The request
“Our servers are old, nobody remembers everything running on them, and we’re not sure how exposed we are.”
What we did
We inventoried what was running, retired the unused sites and applications, upgraded and locked down what remained, and added backups and monitoring, leaving a smaller and safer footprint.
Automating the hand-offs between systems
The request
“Our team re-keys data between accounting, payments and reporting every month, and mistakes keep slipping through.”
What we did
We automated the data feeds between the systems, with validation and alerts when something looks wrong, so month-end work moves faster and errors are caught early.
